We source products and manufacturers that meet our customers’ needs and coordinate the purchasing process—from supplier assessment and product specifications to orders and shipments—with a focus on quality and food safety.
Product safety, regulatory compliance and customer requirements are as important to purchasing decisions as price and delivery terms. We maintain clear communication between manufacturers and customers, communicate customer requirements to suppliers and follow up to ensure these requirements are met.
Our quality management activities include:
- Assessing suppliers against food safety, quality and customer requirements.
- Reviewing product specifications, certificates and documents relating to product safety and quality.
- Coordinating labelling, packaging and destination-market requirements with our customers and suppliers.
- Under our testing plan, developed in line with regulatory and customer requirements and taking product characteristics and destination-market needs into account, we ensure that the required analyses are carried out by accredited laboratories.
- We ensure product traceability from supplier to customer and track product movements through batch and shipment records. We review customer feedback to support the continuous improvement of our quality processes.
Our BRCGS Agents & Brokers certification demonstrates that the management system supporting these activities has been independently audited. We offer customers worldwide a partnership built on organised, transparent and traceable purchasing processes.
